It’s not that everyone pirating games is just an asshole. Most people simply CANT buy them. Or rather – they can, but then, they wouldnt have money for more important stuff. You can say they are not that poor if they have internet and computer in the first place, but you know, just because you have one luxury doesnt mean you can afford all of them. And games alone, without PC, are useless.
