I just lost my saves, i have them backed up but where do i have to put them for them to work again?
The online FIX don’t work… it want a fiile revolt.nfo that is there in the folder.

You have to copy your saved games to whatever drive the game is installed in, for example – c:\users\”your pcname”\Saved Games\id Software\DOOM\base\savegame.user\”last folder name is 18 digits”
Don’t forget to copy the PROFILE folder as well.
60 GB DOOM CPY + 20 GB UPDATES = 80 GB to play doom, nevermind
Mofuka, too bad your solution didn’t work for me. Base game came from CPY. Did exactly what you said. However, the game says something like “Save file seems damaged and cannot be loaded”
I can’t get my saved games restored no matter what I try. Maybe because I downloaded the “Doom-CPY” release with the “Plaza” patch compilation. Game would just not accept them as anything other than corrupt. Tried copying just the”GAME-AUTOSAVE0″ folder, or the entire thing with PROFILE. But game just says it is corrupt.
Oh finally found a solution. Start a game on a fresh profile and exit to main menu after the first checkpoint. There should now be a new GAME-AUTOSAVE0 folder. Overwrite everything there with your old GAME-AUTOSAVE0. Open the games console and type devMode_enable 1
Try loading your game now. Should work without a corrupted error

Bubba there is not such thing as steam crack to play online, there is never a crack to play in original servers is a scam.
