why is this cracked when its free on steam?

The Save Game Data is located in C:\Users\YourUserNameHere\AppData\Local\FalloutShelter
The Save Files are named: Vault1.sav and Vault1.sav.bkp
If you have many vaults they may have an ascending number after the word “Vault” such as, Vault2.sav, Vault3.sav, etc.

The program I have been forced to use, since game developers refuse to store save files either in one collective folder, or inside the game folder itself, is called “Directory Monitor” (Characterized by an orange box surrounding an icon of a magnifying glass). I was even able to find a video tutorial explaining how to use it’s basic, simple features on YouTube.
It lets me monitor any drive on a system in real time, allowing me to see absolutely every file that is added, or modified.
This is how I can save in a game and instantly see where that save went, i.e., C:\Users\Username\ObscureFolder\Distantplanet\LotteryNumbers\RolloftheDice\FirstbornChild\LeftorRightArm\EnigmaticPrismacularMultigalacticalSupercalifragilisticexpialidocious\Ohthereitis.save
….grrrrr.
