You guys, run the install and check the box for copying the codex. then start the game from Icon in the game directory, not the desktop icon.

for those who got the missing dlls error, here’s the fix :
do not install on the D drive or any other but C drive, and during installation check the ” Copy contents .. ” option .

are you high? who has room on C for anything but windows and core programs?
Games don’t go on C. Limiting the installation to C is to ruin a release.
dude, just execute the icon game with compatibility and administrator.
right click on icon, properties,compatibilityand then you have to mark: execute as administrator and with compatibility mode.

“mSVCP140.dll”,”VCRUNTIME140.dll” seems to be a issue here on mine PC,I run install and it doesn’t give me an option to copy CODEX, but I update the Microsoft C++… It’s a Win 10

if you’re having problems with these:
bink2w64.dll
Localization_FinalRelease.dll
Database_Win64_FinalRelease.dll
HavokScript2013.2.0_Win64_FinalRelease.dll
Make sure you copy the contents of the crack and not any folders. The Win64Steam folder should have at least 16 files in it including these dlls. reinstall over your current one if you think you messed up.
For me, it only gives the problem with “missing ‘MSVCP140.dll’ ‘VCRUNTIME140.dll”, each one of these files gives the error twice per try.
Installation works until a point when it tries to install setup-1.bin.
Then it exits saying “Decompression failed with error code -7”.
Any ideas how to fix it??

the problem was the I ran setup.exe directly from my ISO mounting software. After extracting the CD contents onto my hardrive then running setup.exe it worked.

Solution to main issues is 1. copy crack file properly.
2. if .dll is not copying its due to antivirus being a dick so temporarily turn it off and connect.
3. if u cant start it up its cause u got a good antivirus so it removes it as the game starts up so copy again but now every time u start just temporarily switch off the antivirus then start game then turn once intro is on , turn on antivirus again and game works fine.
