자신의 컴퓨터가 32bit 일때 win32 폴더 안에서 작업하고 64bit일 시 win64 폴더 내에서 작업하시길.
우선 폴더 안 검색에서 3DMGAME.ini 를 검색 하면 두 동명의 파일이 나올 텐데.
두 3DMGAME.ini 를 모두 메모장으로 열어서 Language=schinese 를 Language=koreana
로 바꿔주시면 됩니다. 절대로 그냥 korean 이 아니라 뒤에 a 를 붙인 koreana 로 바꿔야 합니다.
Hint for not Korean.
Open two file name “3DMGAME.ini ” which have same name but not exist on same folder.
If you open the 3DMGAME.ini Find “Language=schinese” and change it to “Language=YourLanguage”
(YourLanguage is can be schinese or koreana or other language code, don’t write “YourLanguage” directly like stupid.)
If it is not changed even you changed “Language=schinese” to “Language=YourLanguage” .
Maybe part “YourLanguage” is wrong.
As you see the default language is “Chinese” but in code it written as “schinese” there is one more “s”
Forthermore in Korean set code is “koreana” , there is one more “a”
Maybe you can find right language code in other games “steam_api.ini” file.

The game is runing fine…
Just unpack one rar and it will unpack all you will need to select now and on some files of rars simples thing to do, download the crack after its done paste it on the game unpacked folder, then create a short cut of the exe and paste -noRedScreens -review on the destination
And just play it did work for me

If you’re having issues with redscreen create shortcut from .exe file. Right click, properties. Add -noRedScreens -review with a space after the .exe”

I understand English, but this game uses many technical terms.

The game language can be changer in 3DMGAME.ini not steam_api.ini…

For the red screen some don’t forget a space between .exe and the – (saw that in some comments).
For the tutorial there is nothing to do sadly, I guess the map is corrupted, it’s not the fact that you cannot move them, you cannot even select them…
And, the bigger “issue”, actually, is the performances… UnrealEngine is definitely dead… 40FPS, with a GeForce 980 Ti… WTF MEN !!!

Game freezes when I try to upgrade a rookie, Any advice?
Tutorial plays, but anytime there’s an audio narritive (like every move) you’ll have to wait 30 seconds for it to timeout :p Same with promoting and such. (Even if it’s turned off in options or -noredscreen on shortcut startup) Just don’t get the redscreen, but the pause is there.
After tutorial, it hang when try promote a soldier.

win7x64(uk locale), nvidia 840m card and i5 5200u cpu(laptop), lowish settings, loading times a bit long(~1 min to load map), no freezing/hanging, all missions working(8-10 so far), no audio problem, i can hear my soldiers as well.
Only used torrent to test my laptop, 2k support guy said i can`t run xcom2, heading to steam to buy this great game.

I imagine you’re using a GPU from AMD, if the case CCC options , change the option ” Virtual Resolution” similarly to on the option ” GPU scalling ” to on . This should let you choose different resolutions in the game.

I did all required but when I try to star a game error says I am missing MSVCR120.dll
I downloaded the file, moved it into windows/system32 and sysWOW64 because I run 64bit but the error still appears.

You already install the “Visual Studio” from the common Redist?
I installed it from 2013 folder and it no longer reports an error, it starts but I get black screen right away and don’t respond so I have to Alt+F4 it…

If it is a little tricky, but not impossible .
I made the recreation waht of perhaps you have in your environment, I uninstall the libraries of visual studio from my computer and remove the dll files from the game folder ( MSVCR120.dll ), restart my computer, and indeed the error jumps. What I did was, reinstall visual studio from the redist of the game ( both vresions X64 and X86 ) I restart my computer, and the problem was solved .
If the problem persist, download a fresh copy of MSVCR120.dll from another site like “http://es.dll-files.com/msvcr120.dll.html” (without quotes) and download both versions X86 and X64 and put them in the root of the game folder C:/User/XCOM 2/ that might work.
I prefer to wait for a better crack
So im new to this. I downloaded the crack and extracted the crack to my desktop. I then opened CPUID.Patch.bat and that worked… (I think) I then done the shortcut and added -noRedScreens -review to the target. ( Yes I added a space after .exe.
Ran the shortcut and had to download a lot of .DLL and added them to the game files. I then restarted my PC and I got this message “Failed to find Default engine .ini file to retrieve my documents sub directory to use. Force Quiting” What can I do to fix this?

Hi jack do you install vcredistx86.exe? And vcredist x64.exe? You have to and the game will work, if you you have win 32 bits install x86 el se x64

Not crack problem, the problem is corrupt libraries. In the worst case you need to format your PC and make a clean install, i know is tricky but works

Lo que tienes tienes que hacer es descargar el juego y descomprimirlo, bajar el crack only y descomprimirlo, dentro de la carpeta del crack hay un archivo que es CPUID.bat corres ese achivo con derechos de administardor (click dereco “ejecutar como administrador”), se abre una consola MSDOS y corre un proceso, despues de haber terminado te pedira que preciones culaquier tecla para continuar. Y así te generara el .exe del juego. Despues copias toda el contenido de esa carpeta a la carpeta del juego y reemplazas todo lo que te pida.
Despues tienes que hacer es, hacer un acceso directo del exe que genero el CPUID.bat y añadir al objetivo del acceso directo esto -noRedScreens -review y te deberia quedar algo así \Binaries\Win64\XCom2.exe” -noRedScreens -review (nota que hay un espacio despues de las comillas) ejecuta en modo administrador el juego y juega.

If you have Windows 32bits (Windows XP ??? Because ALL computers now are 64bits) why do you want to run the 64 bits ? :-)
For the torrent issue, not really a problem because this version sucks, I cannot even promote my soldiers, the soldier just disappear and nothing happen… If I must wait 2 min for each soldier for each promote… not worse it…
I hope there will be a real version soon…

Ok, language doesn’t change anything, promote still hang randomly (some soldiers are working fine, like the “assault”, if someone has a pattern…)
Ok, in fact I manage to promote to lvl 2 all my soldiers without hang :
I find a soldier for which it does not hang (1 soldier out of 3…), then you have small arrows to change soldiers at the bottom of the screen, I just click on that and it auto-promotes my soldiers to lvl 2 !!! :-O
Once your soldiers are lvl 2 you can promote them directly has there is no script to load animation ! :-D

I need help, i tried doing everything stated before. I unzip the game and the crack I execute the CPUID.Patch.bat to create the files and .exe
Once I copy all of it to the games folder and replace all files I create a new shortcut from the one created by the .bat file and add the \Binaries\Win64\XCom2.exe” -noRedScreens -review stuff.
AFter that I try to run game as admin but says there is an error with the msvcp120.dll and game does not load.

Install the Redist that come in the game folder (_CommonRedist) Run the installer X86 and X64 (both of them) that must repair the previous version instaled in your PC. That problem are corrupt libraries of Visual Studio.
